Get to know me

Between photography, technology, and the joy of good solutions.

I have always been interested in technology, construction, and good solutions. Photography came later and at first felt like something very different. Over the years, though, it became clear that these two worlds are much closer for me than they might seem at first.

What I like about both is not just creativity in an abstract sense. I like the process of finding a good way to a result. In photography, that means understanding people, reading situations, working calmly, and creating images that stay with you. In technology, it means understanding problems properly, working with other people, and building solutions that do not only work in theory.

Professionally, I chose the technical path. Photography stayed the part where I can keep the fun, the freedom, and the closeness to the actual work.

In private, it usually goes one step further. That is where projects with AI, CAD, 3D printing, or smart home come in, and where I sometimes build things in much more detail than normal everyday life would ever require. That is part of the fun.

Two sides

Two areas, a similar standard.

Photography is the part where observation, timing, and closeness matter. Technology is the part where structure, curiosity, and solid systems make the difference. The tools are different, but the standard behind them is often surprisingly similar.
